About Lewisham Borough CFC

Lewisham Borough Community Football Club (known as Boro) represents the borough of Lewisham in South East London. Founded in 2003, we play home matches at Alex Yee Ladywell Arena and compete in the Southern Counties East Football League First Division.

Our home

We play at:

Alex Yee Ladywell Arena
Silvermere Road
Catford
SE6 4QX

The Alex Yee Ladywell Arena has been Borough's home for most of the club's history.

In 2016, the 100-seat Clinton Rhule Stand opened in memory of one of the club's founders. The £23,000 project was supported by a Premier League grant, and included pitch and pay box improvements.

The arena was renamed Alex Yee Ladywell Arena in 2024, in honour of Lewisham's Olympic and world triathlon champion Alex Yee.

Community

Borough was set up to strengthen football in Lewisham. That's still what drives the club.

We want Boro to be a competitive senior football club that reflects the borough. We also want it to be easy for local people to be part of it, as supporters, players, volunteers, partners or local businesses.

Over the years this has included work with young players and local football organisations. In 2022, the club offered free season tickets to all Lewisham residents, to make watching Borough more accessible.

For 2026–27, adult season tickets start at £20. Under-18s go free to league matches.
