Name: Lewisham Borough Community Football Club
Nickname: Boro
Established: 2003
Lewisham Borough (Community) FC was formed in 2003 through the merger of three local sides – Elms FC, Moonshot FC, and Ten Em Bee FC – with the vision of creating a unified senior football club to represent the borough of Lewisham.
The club quickly made an impact, gaining entry into Division One West of the Kent County League and winning the division at the first attempt. This early success saw them promoted to the Premier Division, which they went on to win in the 2005–06 season.
In 2011, Lewisham Borough became a founding member of the newly formed Kent Invicta League, which later merged into the Southern Counties East Football League (SCEFL) in 2016. The club has now proudly reached its 10th consecutive season competing in the SCEFL First Division.
